I messaged to try and find out when they would be arriving but got a message back saying they didn't know when they would be arriving because it looks like they are doing something different in their place, arrving soon apparently.

I had decided to purchase a carpet cleaner from Argos at the weekend, this one -

Vax Rapide V-025RC Classic Carpet Cleaner. 406/8275 price £89.99

Unfortunately they gave me the wrong one, this one -

Vax V-026RD Rapide Deluxe Carpet Cleaner. 406/3665 price £179.99

At first I thought it had been the young lad who gave me it had picked up the wrong box but then I noticed the box had a sticker with the catalogue number for the cheaper model stuck to it.

Probably store specific but if your in the market for a carpet cleaner certainly worth a punt.

At Mr T's I got trouted for the £1 lenor, supervisor came over (super trout) said it's only the lenor in the picture, I said no it's for ANY lenor, she repeated herself x 2 I repeated myself x 2, she said would you like me to ask the Manager, I said yes please, a few minutes later she returned and said you'll get them this time but you won't get them again, I said ok thanks.

Yes you can. I asked in Asda yesterday and was told you can use as many as you like per transaction. HTH
