The wife just went to Boots , bought something for £7.95 and asked if she could use her points worth £3.88 and pay cash for the rest. She was told no , you have to buy something worth £3.88 with your points.

That can't be right can it ?

That is right-you either pay with points or cash -cannot combine them.

Unfortunately yes you have to have the full amount of points to pay, you can't do half and half

I've been told that before too . Apparently it has to be of equal or lesser value than your points.
And while we're on the subject...I returned something worth 45 points the other day. The SA deducted the points, but now my other 115 points have vanished from my card too!:eek:

Don't use SS if you want a till spit. And try to go to a SA and buy one or two things first - be it a paper or your whoopsies. When I spend LESS money, I normally get a til spit

I have not had a til spit for ages makes me jealous keep reading about all the ones the lovely elite manage to get

I go through manned with a couple things big shop any shop :rotfl:and :mad: no spit
