ETA: Following on from AngelsMadv post of the drinks.....there's quite a few different drinks with price cuts, assuming they're discontinued. All are half price at present and seem to be selling out at that price. They're all glass bottle types...in teh Schloer/Appletiser sectionSorry I can't be more specific, it's not something I picked up myself
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

I sympathise. My DD is 26 and recently went on holiday with a girl she thought was a friend. She lent one of her friends tops on holiday and wore it with shorts. She is a size 10-12 and even though I say so myself is a lovely looking girl. Later that night she overheard her so called friend on the phone to her sister saying that my DD had stretched her top and did she not realise how big her thighs looked. She even said she though DD has body dysmorphia as she thinks she is slim. Now this girl knows my DD suffered badly from aneroxia for 2 years and was really thin and ill.
My DD nevers weighs herself now and is happy with her shape. DD said it ruined the last 3 days of the holiday and she has not spoken to the girl since they got back. However she went out last night and was told this girl is going around spreading nasty rumours about her. Similar thing to the op's post in that this girls parents have a business and she is spoilt rotten. I also have been warning my DD about this girl for a while.
Aren't girls nasty.
You and your daughter have my utmost sympathy.
Similar thing happened to me when I was younger and don't think I ever truly recovered from my confidence being knocked. Nobody should think this kind of thing is trivial - it is a form of bullying and really does take a lot of strength getting over. Left me with the life long feeling that I was not good enough.
People can be so cruel - esp some girls who seem to get some kind of weird satisfaction from running down friends.
I really hope your daughter sees this girl for who/what she is and learns to keep her distance. Its ok for me to say it now but it really is difficult when you're in the middle of it all. ((hugs)) x0 -

Good morning
A nice dull day for a stuffy work place :T
I'm sorry to read all the posts about ghastly mean so called friendshopefully eyes are opened & we leave them by the kerb
My niece was befriended by a bloke running for the local council seat. My sister fed him, let him stay over & washed & showered there nearly 5 nights a week.
Then he disappeared & niece loathes him. Found out why. He 'borrowed' all her Christmas money & spent it on New Years Eve in pub.
Sister tackled him about repayment but nothing. She got him to sign a letter saying he would pay back £60 (a fraction of the debt)
Nothing - she asked him again & he said 'no witnesses you can whistle':mad::mad:Our Family Motto ~If all else fails - read the instructions...
