SA put my 3-4 grapes through free the other day as weighing scales went into meltdown with my single mushroom, half carrot etc, he looked at me like i had lost the plot when i handed them back to him and insisted he sort his scales out and weigh them as i didn't want to get into trouble for not paying, when they did weigh it charged 17p for 4 bl**dy grapes :eek:, i'm sticking to mushy peas and batter mix instead:D

did you pay by credit card or use a CC, might they have details of the transaction in the records, i have seen people at CS return faulty tesco items without a recipt, as someone earlier said perhaps try a store where your not hated by CS anyway lol and they may oblige in an exchange

I had a problem returning a faulty microwave to store that I had only purchased the day before:cool: you need to phone the technical helpline number for advice before returning to store : 08454566767.
Also bought a tv that I couldn't find receipt for - returned to a different store who exchanged it no questions asked - was advised that if I had used my clubcard when purchasing that I could call clubcard with the approximate date of purchase and they would be able to find the transation and supply a duplicate receipt.
Luck of the draw I guess as to whether the store will play ball.
