I used to lurk around and wonder why you lot spent so much time planning a shop! How long does it possibly take to write a list!

Now I know. I've been on the best part of 2 hours planning 3 separate shops.
    But really enjoyed the challenge.
Wishing I'd stuck in at Maths now!:)

    Hi celebrate,
Not sure if this helps. I know you have to decide your target shop before you go shopping. Ie who do you want to compare your shop to to get the best possible APG and then buy the items that will compare most favourably.
Today I did a Sains versus tesco shop to use a BM. I looked on mysupermarket to see which products were comparing positively combined with the coupons I have to use.
Not sure I'm explaining this well.:)

I'm sure aa worked out that the Irn Bru was cheaper at Morrisons rather than Sainsbury's. From my notes: A v's M £5.04 - 3 for £3.00 APG = £2.34 = 22p per 2 litre.
I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!
