no you need 8 different items, all bottles count as one item unless they are different flavours

    Reporting in from Sainsbobs carpark...

Beer is still a go, Five sets of 7 purchased via SS, BM's still popping out... :D

One Gold medal in the bag for Team Elite, off to A's now...... ;)

    Just quoting myself :p,

Do 7 Beers at the SS, ask the SA to put 7 beers through in one go for you to save you scanning them all, while they do that say to them you have seven coupons aswell, they will either add all 7 together and put them through in one hit or scan one and then put the remaining 6 through in one hit.. then give the your BM.. ;)

If like me this morning you find more than 7 (14,21,28 etc) just let them know you want to do X amount of transactions each with 7 beers...

I had to do this mornings in Two hits as the trolley wasnt big enough for 35 packs..:D

According to S's online, the Iron Bru is on offer at 2 for £2....so wouldn't you need to buy multiples of of 6 for it to compare if you wanted to do all three different drinks in one go?

    http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/groceries/frameset/redirect.jsp;GROSESSIONID=QTRbmDzvPxNWLpQchW2PxTzpn3VCK1SB1XM5jJkGvn5h4wQchGst!1734341142?

Thanks Purdita, there were only 3 on the receipt that I wombled last night so I didn't realise buying 6 would get them free against S :D

My shop from 10am today confirms your theory. :jI bought 9 diet, 9 regular. Its compared £30.24 against £16.20 in S AND M (£18 less 10%) so even in S I got back £14.04 making 18 bottles £3.96 or 22p each.

So amended advice for targeted shops below
