I wombled 2 earlier when I picked up my steam mop I had ordered, got almost £8 between the 2 of them0 -
After being pretty ambivilent about the whole olympics thing, I've surprised myself with how much I'm enjoying the opening ceremony.
I thought the Industrial revolution bit was really spectacular and clever (until Kenneth Brannagh came on, bit too much of a luvvie for me!)
Just before it all started I popped out to S's and A's for whoopsies.
Not 90% off but did manage about 80% in both stores and got some nice beef, pork and lamb joints, steak, loads of mince and fish so really pleased.
Think I'm going to like having an A's so close....it's next to S's and seems to have affected their trade. More whoopsies there than normal at the mo. First time I've been in S's for ages and not even looked at the beers section :rotfl:
Another fab bargain in S's (although it might be store specific) was the big 3kg boxes of Ecover washing powder 40 wash £12.99 down to £3.24. I got two
OJ worked for me again earlier today, but I could only find 3 bottles. Can't believe how long this has been glitching:)
I'm waiting up to see who lights the cauldron....as much as I like him I hope it's not Beckham. My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -

Got a 'big' shop to do in T's on Sunday with all my MOC's so will see how much I save to see if I can justify a trip to A's as wellYou're shopping does offer lots of inspiration though
Funny enough I bought some of the Casserole steak last week first time, I never shop in Asda.
I made a beef curry, cooked twice in the oven and I must admit how nice it was tooToni`s Mummy0 -

I don't think it will be beckham he took part in the torch relay.
I am really annoyed that he wasn't picked for the gb team though, all he did to get the bid for London and then throw. Back in his face.0 -
