Now this is exciting news, it's been ages since a double discount has worked on the wine. :j:j:j

Last time there were no 3 for £12 offers when the multi buy discount was on. Remember you can usually add a bottle of sherry or port that's on offer as they count as wine. Well at least it has worked in the past. ;)

Morning all, got some very early morning exercise this morning dropped OH to work at 7am, don't know the area but knew a Sainsbobs about. Parked miles away for free parking and walked back with 3 packs of beer on each arm. :D

If I remember right the offer also worked before on the meal deal wine and on the miniature bottles. Hope they do this time
If it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:

The best items for comparison T v A were as follows and I had MOC's for almost everything:
    1 x BANANAS LOOSE (0.815 kg) 0.64 0.55
    1 x MCCAIN LIGHTLY SPICED WEDGES 750G 1.70 1.50
    1 x LENOR FAB COND SPRING AWAKENING750ML 1.99 1.50
    1 x CARTE D'OR VANILLA 900ML 2.85 2.00
    2 x LENOR FAB COND SUMMER BREEZE 750ML 3.98 3.00

    1 x ARIEL STAIN REMOVER WHITE POWDER 500G 4.55 3.00
    1 x PILGRIMS CHOICE MATURE 350G 5.00 3.00
    1 x TESCO FINEST PORK LOIN STEAKS (0.442 kg) 4.86 1.33

Everything else was the same price.

If you are doing a T v S shop, the following items might be useful:
    Strawberries 400g £2 (in T) £1.75 (in S)
    Carte D'or vanilla ice cream £2.85 (in T) £1.74 (in S)
    Fairy Platinum tabs £6 v £4

The world is full of people throwing stones at us. Its what you do with them that counts. Build a wall or build a bridge.

Some of the nicest most positive thoughts I've read in a long time. Really cheered me up - thanks Classy

Anybody know which of the T's offers the petrol coupons are given for - forgotten what they all are and also which are the best offers to go for to maximise. Want to fill my car up as cheap as I can as I've got to drive to relatives over the weekend.:beer:

Yes it did and probably still will work. But the wines in the meal deal do not attract such a big discount anymore as in the past there have been wines available up to £10.99, the most expensive one I could see online today is £6.99. :(

Not checked out the mini ones as still have a few hidden away. :o
