Morning all. Managed to get two lots of beer at two different Sainsbobs last night. Just wondered if anyone getting the beer alone, uses their Nectar card each time?
I was lucky enough to acquire a few more mags and hope the beer stocks have been replenished later. Just wondered if it may be wise not to use the nectar card each time. Thanks IA.
I have used my card each time, I know others have said they have not used it, but the way I see it, I'm doing everything by the T&C so why not, but others will have a differing opinion0 -

This is a legit deal, so nothing wrong in taking it up. But generally speaking, if I am going to have a few goes at something like this (oh yes!), I would pay cash (well obviously in this case as it's only 50p) and NOT use any loyalty card. Clearly even by getting just 4 lots of 7 you have had a minimum of 28 magazines and no doubt would like to use more vouchers still? Would S think a single customer taking this number of mags reasonable? Probably best to leave your Nectar card in your purse as the few points are not worth any possible hassle and are zip when compared against all that free beer waitng for you on the shelf
Cheers

Thanks for the replies Miss Laid and RN.
As I was lucky enough to find a few more mags last night, I think I will leave the Nectar card. As you say RN, it is the amount of mags you have to take, to get the coupons. I always use cash though. Got into the cash habit when taking items back to Tesco which 'did not fit', when using clothing vouchers to bump up a shop. Come to think of it, I didn't use my Tesco clubcard if I intended to take stuff back, then there was no paper trail.0 -
Morning! :j:j
Used the skipping rope for the first time today...(hangs head in shame) ... but on the plus side I am very excited about the new flops!! Might *have* to take a detour from work today and have a little looksie for those flops...

Have a good day! Keep cool if you can!!0 -

As its only a 50p spend I would use cash anyway, but when shopping at T's I tend to try and use cash were possible and I dont use my CC so that I have no "footprint" just a few trout prints0 -

I agree that double-dipping is wrong, but I don't think this is what choirchick was doing - think she was returning the items precisely because they didn't compare and she didn't get the difference? The jtd voucher related to other items that did compare?
In this instance, I think T has the "right to void" the jtd voucher but I have never known them invoke it as the remaining jtd relates to items that have not been returned. So should be fine to use it without staff trying to publicly undermine and humiliate the customer - what customer care training programme teaches that that is ever the correct response to any customer? Only in T's ....
"so that I have no "footprint" just a few trout prints" - love this, thanks Miss L. T needs to add it to their carbon footprint stats so that customers can make an informed choice about whether to shop in their stores
