Confession:o:o:o:oI've been looking at AVM shop written on posts and have only just realised what it means:eek::eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:This heat is frazzling my brain!

I try and write it out properly Asda versu Morrisons - for some reason as you can see I keep mispelling versu :rotfl:So its a v M - mind you in my defense I type fast and mispell all of the time, and having a sweaty black cat stretched across the keyboard is not helping, his head is on my right arm so he is purring away quite happily as I struggle to type :rotfl:

I wouldn't bother to be honest. All the other cheap stuff I found the other night came back as N/A when price checked.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll leave it then. :)

Tomato sauce is next on my decanting list;)I only did the salad cream because I had one of the cheap T's glass bottles of it that I used for egg sarnies, because you really can't taste the difference. I'd run out of normal salad cream for his tea so poured the cheap one in the bottle and have been doing it ever since, he really hasnt a flipping clue:T:T:TIt's this one and it's only 50p;)

What makes me laugh the most is O/H is such a "brand" snob, yet each Friday him and all his work mates pile into the nearest to where they are working greasy spoon for a full english and a coffee, I said to him, do you think they use Heinz beans or Branston ketchup or Nescafe coffee?? He has come a long way since being with me as it was a case of eat what I buy or go out and buy/cook your own, but there are still a few he refuses to budge on (or so he thinks)

I have one Asda receipt that wont compare as it says there are not enough items. I have counted and recounted the things on the receipt and I still make it 8 - even checked the barcode numbers.
Here is the list, the numbers are the last four of the code next to them on the receipt. 14 items to start with

    bread 5007L
    roberts loaf 5051L
    milk 3708 two
    frijj milk 3189 two
    naan bread 6705 two
    cooking sauce 1946 two
    turkey 6768 two
    asda rice 1636 two

So which item is the one ruining this receipt?

Possibly the Frijj. I think I heard someone mention that items that can be found in the sandwich/lunch type fridge, do not count towards the 8 items. Sorry can't be of more help than that.

It reminds me of my nan, bless her. She used to get tshirts from the charity shop and cut the Lacoste labels off and sew them on cheap tshirts!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:And she could convince anyone that Next was a designer label;)

My Updated Tesco Extra opened yesterday, but been so busy at Mr S & Mr A, only got round to going this afternoon, found Ariel Stain Remover 1kg better than half price £4 instead of £8.58.

Sadly it was an ood SEL, Cs told me they had put up a disclaimer, not offering DTD as it was a new store  , I asked her where it was and she couldn't see it :j, sadly it had fallen off the edge of the desk, I stood on it just to make sure.

She said it was the first DTD she had done, I'm sure it won't be my last :D
