i found it easier just to walk around the fruit and veg section and pick up single items, personally i haven't had any not compare

eg 1 banana (smallest i can find lol), 1 carrot, 1 mushroom, 3-4 green grapes, 3-4 red grapes, 1 new potato loose,

everything else is too expensive for me:D

other good top ups are the smart price batter mix for 6p and smart price instant custard mix 7pish

The 10p stock cubes are good too chicken/beef/veg all compare individually

    Evening.
Had a lovely day but not been on here all day - apart from posting at 9am that the beer was still working. Went swimming, then over to a friends for lunch. DS was an angel, ate quiche/salad/cous cous and didn't complain once. then played in his bedroom this afternoon for an hour whilst mummy had a little snooze :T Just been out to the pub with OH and DS for dinner then the park. What a glorious day - all topped off by the beautiful weather.

Also, my Ainsley Harriot Cous Cous came this morning :j

Got a £6 off £40 T moc i need to utilise well so guess how I'll be spending my evening :rotfl:
    Tiger
I'm a body double for Claudia Schiffer and i wont get out of bed for less than [STRIKE]£10k per day[/STRIKE] a 1p find

So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.

:mad: I picked up two packets of everyday value scones yesterday. Eaten nearly one packet, was just about to open the second today only to see the best before on it is 21st July!!:mad: the packet which is nearly empty was the 28th July....

it shouldn't even be on the shop floor if it's best before the 21st on the 22nd:mad::mad:

serves me right for not looking really:o:o

i rang up CS last week in a fury about some whoopsies in T's
got some new potatoes reduced to38p 4 packs
got home and opened them and there was a soggy liquified potato in each bag that i hadn't noticed, each smelled rank
i was disgusted, usually new potatoes last ages and i never really check them like i do other fruit and veg before buying
anyway washed the rest and realised i could salvage them as alot had early signs of disease and i couldn't wash the smell off

Rang CS who offered a £3 gift card, then asked her to clarify the policy on selling food that is quite obviously off and whether this was legally acceptable, bought some sl dodgy looking corn on the cobs recently which turned out to smell and taste foul -thought i could save them with grilling but my family thought i was trying to poison them

she upped the gift card to £10;):T

usually don't mind eating out of date stuff, but if it tastes off or stale i would ring them

I'm liking your style Nikilala - girl after my own heart:T:T:T

I actually bought a new top this morning as I had a nectar coupon to use that ran out today. Also some Pj's & a sweat jacket. Unfortunately some of them don't fit so I may have to return them:D:D:D

As Mr S was kind enough to give me another till spit it would be rude not to buy them in the right size:):):)
