should i drop a note through some neighbours doors about council tax band?

just had a quick nosey and it would appear that at least 3 neighbours are in a higher band then they should be, numbers 6 ,7 and 9 are all in band c, number 8 had their band re assesed in 93 and was put form a C to a B and is in the same kind of property to the other 3, would that just seem that i was a nosey neighbour? i was just checking my own and noticed the difference to number 8 to the rest even though mine is as it it should be (gutted lol)

so if you were in a band higher than you should be, and paying more than you should, you would not want to know if you didnt already? these are the older generation in bungelows. Do you think they would want to save money and get a possible rebate?

I would it mention to them, they'll love you for it if they can save some money. Just mention that you had been banded wrong and it might be worth them having a look into it. Perhaps they won't act on it, but they can't claim that they didn't know once you've told them.
