the 5.1 amp IS NOT a dolby digital amp!!
it's an amplifier with 5 channels, and one bass channel

you would need something like the hewlett packard 5.1 decoder advertised a couple of days ago for £20 on the forum to make a dolby digital system, OR, a DVD player with 6 phono outputs

My Mother bought one for my daughter for Christmas. I think it was around £40 and looked quite a bargain.. Reduced to £24.49 now so amazing value!

Although it states 3yrs plus, my nephew (my brother ordered one from the sale for him) who is 19months loves his!! I reckon it's more suitable for that age really because it's quite small and slow (6v) Having said that my 3 year old is still wizzing around on hers - even if it sruggles to shift her when there's a slight uphill!! There's a working light and sound effects too.

Also was delivered within 2 days! I say go for it!
