This may make the 60 mile round trip to my nearest Tesco that sells fuel viable.:rotfl:

the fairy powder will be about £7, the coffee about £6, beans about £3, juice about £1 if you're lucky and the toilet roll is about £9.

So around £26 you need to spend to get 50p off a litre.

So if my maths serves me right you'd need to fill up with more than £52 to make it worthwhile if you weren't buying the products anyway?

My tank is about £70 to fill up so would save me a couple of quid :)

although.... would you still be able to use 5 at a time if you bought 5 bottles of juice seperatley? you'd get 5 coupons for 10p i'm assuming?

I expect that someone will, once the exact details of the products become known, work out whether or not any of them are cheaper at ASDA etc, and establish whether the 'Tesco Price Promise' would generate a voucher.

    I could buy those ....

    Looking good.

Mine is almost running on fumes and takes 60 litres, so I'd save £30. Nearest petrol's 3 miles away from a Tesco.

    Probably not... good question though.

So, by spending £26 I could save £30.... or, I coukl just find £9 loo roll at half price and save the same £4 or so without the hassle... although by spending more I'd have products.... that I could also probably buy cheaper elsewhere

    So here are the facts:

As part of the deal customers will receive a 10ppl voucher when they:
    • Buy any two selected Andrex Toilet Roll 9 pack for £10
    • Buy any two selected Robinsons Double Concentrate 1.75l for £7
    • Buy any four selected Heinz products (choice of mayonnaise, tomato ketchup, salad cream, baked beans) for £9
    • Buy Nescafe Original 300g for £7 or Gold Blend 300g for £8
    • Buy Fairy Non-Bio Powder 72 Wash 5.75kg (£14)
So a £48 spend gets you 50p off per litre - need to do some calculations on this one

so assuming my calculations are correct and assuming you can buy 5 x say the nescafe @ £7

    5 x £7 = £35 My full tank from empty = 69 ltrs

    69 x 50p = £34.50 BUT nescafe is £2 cheaper in Asda

    5 x £2 = £10 so to save £34.50 it would cost me an extra £10.50?

Am I right????? or am I on the wrong track :)

I'm afraid theres no "Oh I really need those products" for me

Use the Price Promise, buy a few extra things and hope they match the products and you get a just the difference from them. The only things I would probably get is the robinsons, its £3.65 in mr T but on offer in Sainsburys at £2 until 31/7/12, so with just the difference it would be worth stocking up.
Bear in mind Mr T price comparison seens a bit hit or miss.
