I haven't reviewed my kids' schools yet as I noticed that you can identify the reviewer, not sure how to get round this?

For instance, find a school with a review (maybe the one you've done), click on the review headline, it will take you to your review.....your name (or initial if that's all you've put) will then become a link and if you click on it you can see your email/name and other details.

I would do this if I could review without being identified (and I was going to put good things about the schools too, nothing bad to say, just don't like my details being on show). Have those that have left reviews been able to make sure their details are all hidden?

If you go into "edit profile", you can choose whether to make your personal information private, for friends only or public. I assume that if you change the option next to each piece of your info to "private", then no-one can see those details.

Also, if you go into "my account settings", there is a box to tick ... it says next to it: "Ticking this box will make your profile invisible to other Schoolsnet community members, but you will still be able to view it whenever you like".

    Hope that works :-)

My sons old(left 2 weeks ago) school is not on there!!! It a huge school - can't miss it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So do you think I can do old school and new school????????????

It is worth a try ... or you could review one by you ... and one by your partner or husband ...

I think schoolsnet is a really good site ... my partner is a school governor and it was recommended to him ages ago ... but they seem to have very few reviews ... hence the promotion ... I would say the more reviews the better ...
We looked in depth for a school when we moved here 4 years ago ... We visited each local school before we chose ... and reveiws like this would have been a huge help ...

I intend to write my partners review of our son's primary school ... even though he left three years ago!

I have emailed Jayne Jackson to ask if you can review more than one school ... and also who funds Schoolsnet as I could not find out on the site ... will let you know when I get a reply ....

  • it does seem a little too good to be true - I have written a review but cannot find the edit profile section..or make my details private (having said that I cant see a way of others getting my info either)
I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes ;)

What are you going to say Coupon' ? .....

I cannot see anywhere you can blank out your details however it only shows your first name and then the county ... some people have put just their initial ... so it would just show ... C M,Tescoville ... for instance ....
