BTL remortgage - safe to use lenders solicitors?

Hi,
We're buying a new house and remortgaging our existing flat as a BTL. Legal fees for the BTL are included (I know this will be reflected in the overall fees). Do I need to be cautious in using their solicitors & should I get an independent one to review the paperwork or am I just being paranoid?
Thanks for taking the time to read.

It's fine/routine on a remortgage. You already own the property.
For a purchase, I'd look carefully at a lender's choice of solicitor.I am a mortgage broker.
