1) When you put your monthly commitments does it include car insurance and petrol (assuming I pay it monthly). I do NOT mean car finance

2) Do they ask what gas and electric is going to cost you, as this is different on season and for everyone

3) If I have an overdraft that is arranged will it affect me if I never use it

4) will having a little woods acc open affect it if i don't use it.

5) how long do things stay on your file? I have done a few car insurance quotes and had 1 loan application for a payday loan turned down a few months ago (some !!!! about no enough info).

I am 20 in september and want to buy just before im 25. This is paticularly relevant to questio 5. Will the failed application and insurance quotes still show up in 4-5 years time

Also totally unrelated, how do i subscribe/track the thread. Im sick of annoying ppl asking the same thing over and over...

I will be as gentle as I can.

Brett you are busy looking for another job, possibly helping a neighbour, having/had disputes with ex employer, and by your own admission, get stressed/worried about things.

You are at risk of getting overwhelmed again, you are only 19, and I know you have been trying to save for a while, but according to your sig, you are at £300.

Until you have solid employment history and a good deposit, your littlewoods account is really nothing to worry about.

Car insurance quotes are soft searches. Payday loan however will impact you. How many have you taken them out...if any? Any payday loans will be on your file for 6 years, show signs of distress and will not appeal to Lenders. I think your main focus at this point is to build up a deposit.

£10,000 minimum for a £100,000 house. More for the better rates.

Sorry was too lazy to write my answers in bold/different colour.

4 years is a long time in mortgage policy. It may be far harder or far easier than it is now to get a mortgage - nobody knows.

And you can't guarantee your income/expenditure/employment status for the next 4-5 years either. With the best will in the world anything could happen.

There's just no point stressing about this now. Get your head down and save every penny you can, then see where you are in 3-4 years.

done loads of car insurance quotes, but apparently they go in 12 month.

the payday loan was applied for in april or may but didn't get it. will this negativley impact me. I really want to buy for when i turn 25. Will these things still be on file in 4-5 years? afterall the loan was never taken out.

if it does show up, will it prevent me getting a mortgage seeing as it would of been 4-5 years ago and was never taken out.
