Best Way to clear my debt

All 3 jobs ive had since uni have mentioned credit checks which is pretty standard in finance but nobody has ever mentioned anything when mines come back and without a doubt its never looked pretty!

In a minimum wage job i cleared £8k of debt, its just a question of chipping away at it. As my credit rating was already screwed i spoke to quite a few of my creditors and they froze the interest after i exlained i couldnt afford to pay them back
