myWaitrose card

If you have one, make sure you whip it out at the checkout. Just found out that Customer Services cannot do this over the phone if you forget.

Is a Waitrose card a credit card, like my M&S one? If so, are there any benefits?

I got 3 x £10 off an Internet shop which is mostly what I use and they were useful. I've only visited the Waitrose which delivers my shopping twice, second time being today.

From reading the replies here its a card that gets you vouchers and not a credit card.

I tend to use the self service as I like to pack at my own speed and value not having to queue as long but the self service queues don't take the Waitrose card which means most if not all my shops are not counted. I've only ever had one voucher- if you can call it that. It was a voucher and card for my "car".

    I don't drive.

I won three packs of bbq food last month. They sent me a voucher for them. This was from having my mywaitrose card swiped. I so often forget to hand it over to swipe though:o.

I too, keep forgetting to use it. Or I go through the self-service for speed, where you can't use it. So if I did win the month's shopping spend back, it probably wouldn't amount to much anyway!

billieboy, nice to hear that someone has won something though :)

it's not a cc. it's a card you use instore & each time you shop at a serviced till & have your card swiped, you get a *drum roll please* 1p discount off your shop (:)) but you also get entered into a draw to win your month's spend back. You can also go online & enter other competitions & every so often you get discount vouchers through the post.
