Nationwides save to buy account/FTB mortgage advice

Hi all,
I am currently saving £300 into Nationwides Save to Buy Account to hopefully be able to apply 95% in around 18/24 months. I am on a £20,000 salary and looking at houses for around £80,000, with 5k deposit, around 94% LTV. Firstly, do many people get accepted for this mortgage or is it a bit of a ploy to FTB's like me to put my savings with them, then they just say, "sorry you do not meet our lending criteria" My credit history has run for 7 years, a couple of loans - all paid off. Mobile phone contract running, one credit card £1500 on it at 0% for the next 16 months and one with nothing on it. I have never missed a payment on anything.
Secondly could a mortgage broker find a 95% mortgage? and also, i'm looking to complete in 2 years, do people think there maybe a couple more 95% available on the high street?? House prices? Going to shoot up in 2 years?
Anyhow, just looking for some peoples opinions on all of the above.
cheers
