hi all,

im looking for a loan (got quite bad credit) to consolidate all my debts. yesterday, i got a bit carried away and spoke to someone from
w w w. bad-credit-loans-4-you. co. uk

they did a credit check, and found me a loan for 4000. all i needed to do was give them my bank details, pay 59.99, sign and send off the paperwork (which they are sending via post...hasnt come yet) and the money will be in my bank in 3 working days after receiving it. so thats just what i did.

i rang them back an hour later, after seeing some bad reviews about sites like this....the guy i spoke to assured me that the loan is guarenteed, i have been accepted and even told me how much id be paying back a month..... just sign and send the paperwork

however, im not thinking ive just made a massive mistake, and just been very naive. ive tried to do research on this company, i keep finding threads (non positive) but im not sure if they are refering to this particular site...

does anyone have any personal experiance with this company? no need to comment on my stupidity, i am aware of this already but would really like some feedback...thanks in advance

Have you actually signed anything - can't tell from the above if you are still waiting for paperwork or if you have sent back a signed agreement?

If you haven't sent it back then you have time to do a bit more research to check your options. You can often come to an agreement to reduce your payments, post an soa on the debt free wannabee board and they can help you reduce your outgoings...

Dont know of these personally but they have all the hallmarks of other such firms such as the infamous Yes Loans. They are not lenders. They take your upfront fee then very rarely ever find you a loan. And if they do it's hardly ever at the rates they said they would. Get your money back if you can and run for the hills!!!

not yet received the papers, the guy i spoke to on the phone assured me they'd found me a loan and its was all guarenteed....im worried now though
  • You should be, you'll be lucky to see your money again.

You want to borrow money, what sense does it make to pay upfront?

These sort of people are actually brokers and not lenders. They take your money and then they search a panel of lenders to see if they can get you a loan.

Get on to your bank and make sure these people do NOT take out the £59, do NOT sign anything, rip it up and put in bin.

Guaranteed by whom ? The guy on the phone yet you cant actually see its guaranteed as he could be telling a porkie. If you have debts your going to have to reduce your outgoings. What is your salary and your debts ?

That was 59.99 well spent, expect your loan any time soon.

Go back to the website and find out what their cancellation policy is. Follow it. Write, email, call, deliver it by hand, but put the cancellation in, and demand a full refund of your payment and refuse authority for any more funds to be deducted. Cancel any and all agreements.

You might not get it back, to be honest, but being able to demonstrate you have followed their policy will be a good starting point.
