Mortgage help please.

somebody mentioned to me that if you and your partner was going for a joint mortgage and one had poor credit you could ask a mortgat advisor to put both wages towards the mortgage but only have one name on the mortgae.ie the person with the good credit.Does anyone know if this true?

Dont do it, it can be classed as fraud and if your partner ups and leaves you you are stuffed.
Have you explored all avenues re your partners credit. When I see adverse clients they are always relieved as their credit is seldom as bad as they think it is. If you see a broker you will find there are a lot better products available to you through them than the expensive adverse credit products you see advertised on daytime tv. If you need help on what to look for with a broker etc just post on the boad someone will be along to help youI am a Mortgage Adviser
