I collected my half price shoes in store today, got my son measured and he needed a different size so I swapped mine and still paid half price. Hope they do this again as had to order in a hurry so only had time to grab the one pair of school shoes for eldest when I would have liked a browse for all of us

Also, if you buy them and they do not fit, take them back to the shop and if they have them instore they will just swap them for you.

Take your print out if you can, there were no prices on my sheet of items I needed to collect.

Saw Mrs_Sparrow's post and put in my order, even though the sizes available where out so chose one size down.

On Monday went to get them from store, and they refused to change the sizes for the shoes even though they had them instore at the size I wanted. Said since it was an online order this was not possible unless I paid full price.

Not your fault Mrs_Sparrow, most likely they changed this due to the amount of shoes sold in the sale.

Would not pay full price as the quality is not all that in my opion for the price being charged.

Guess this depends who is working as above posts are positive, but even the manager said no.

Now have to go through all the shoe shopping again.

    :(

Did anyone go through Topcashback when they ordered. Just noticed my payments have been declined.
    Thanks

Yes mine too, guess 50% and cashback is too much to ask for. I don't blame them really.

We ended up only keeping a pair of trainers, dd didn't like the style of the shoes when she saw them. Dds friend kept her shoes so it was worth it for her. I've now ordered a couple of different styles into store for dd to try. Twice as much though.

I noticed that codes that are not from TCB are excluded now, when you go via TCB, though I don't remember seeing that before. I don't blame them either!

It must be store specific and depend on who you get, sorry yaz. I've collected mine today and they did look to see if there was another size there (G instead of F) and would have changed them but in the end went with the Osh Kosh shoes I ordered and not Clarkes, they just weren't the right fit.

I heard them talking today and it all goes on sales and the number of pairs they sell and the internet orders are not classed as an instore sale. Maybe that is why they will not do it.

Is anybody still waiting for an e-mail to tell them goods are in-store? I haven't had mine yet :(
  • I went to pick my shoes up last night but realised i had ordered one pair that had the toys in and another pair that didn't so other daughter wanted to swap hers for the toys they were very nice and gave me customer service number to get this authorised the lady at customer service said no problem so went today and got them both for the half price so both daughters happy now

The style I ordered was completely wrong for my son regardless of size. The lady in the shop asked if I wanted to look around and try some other shoes, so I said only if they would still honour the 50% discount. She said that she had to ring head office to get approval to do that. I don't know who she spoke to on the phone, but she came back and said since it was only for one pair of shoes they would honour the discount. I had ordered Clarks shoes online, but they don't sell Clarks shoes in that branch so I bought some Hush Puppies that seem to fit him perfectly; just hope they last well as I've never bought Hush Puppies before. Not once did I show her a copy of the order, or proof that I had 50% discount on my online order.
