Why do places do back to school offers before they've even finished the year? My boys grow like weeds in the summer and I'm often the one trying to exchange just before school starts because their trousers have become half mast in the six week break. Otherwise 50% off their shoes for next year would be brilliant. One of my boys has a uniform list that comes in at just over £500 so every tiny bit saved is a help at the moment. I'm just worried that what fits him now will be way too small in September. Ah well if I cut his toe nails really short and put super tight socks on him he'll be fine

Don't know what happened to my reply there! I had totted up a pr of shoes each for my 3. Sent OH txt to let him know why I'd be buying their school shoes so early (well we are halfway thru our hols here) and THEN he informs me his mum has bought them some already! Humph! Could have let me know ! Suppose it saves in the long run, but I don't even know if they fit and are nice or not
