Nram might be pulling fast one with this svr - 0.01 trick, but complaining that they are robbing you when you're on 4.78% is a bit of a joke.0

But as NRAM is taxpayer owned, surely it should have lower rates, so taxpayers pay less!

I was looking through my paperwork this weekend as I was hoping that I would qualify for the discount. My Fixed rate ended in July 11, and I have a letter dated April 11 that says something along the lines of 'your fixed rate is ending, you will be moved onto the SVR which is currently 4.79%.'
Then I checked my statements since then to find I'm on the 4.78%, so does that mean I don't qualify for the loyalty bonus? Just a bit weird since I didn't sign up to that, and it contradicts the letter they sent me.Debt Free and Very Very Proud! - DMP mutual support member 315

If you have a Together product, you are not entitled to the loyalty discount.
Check your key facts illustration and mortgage offer. The letter does not "supercede" them.I am a mortgage broker.
