Bank Charges - Business Customers
Two weeks ago I sent a letter to the Bank of Scotland asking for a refund of charges, over 5 years, applied (taken from) my small ( as in I am the only employee) Ltd Company account for exceeding the company overdraft limit. The bank has replied stating that 'the unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts Regulations do not apply to business customers' and then Bank further stated that 'they are not willing to refund the charges levied as they were applied in keeping with our terms and conditions, which you will have agreed to'.

As it is a business, you have qouted the wrong regulations. Write a new letter the business version from consumeractiongroup.co.uk/foum via recorded delivery and you will be able to get your money back, but do qoute the correct regulations!
