I would love any advice really....
I had a loan and credit cards in the past that I had difficulty paying off .. paying it all off slowly now, but I have a "agreement to pay"
I don't' have any CCJ's either.
I would like to know if it is possible for me to get a mortgage. I am paying so much rent and for so long now.
I hope someone will be able to help.
Many thanks

Hi, As SPM says,
do you have a deposit? You say you have an 'agreement to pay', have you defaulted on any of them?
If you can get the money together for a deposit and want to know if you would be considered for a mortgage speak to a mortgage broker or the bank. But it all depends on sums and figures.[STRIKE]£2200[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£1950[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1850[/STRIKE] £1600 on my credit card

If you are in an "agreement" to pay - you have defaulted on the agreements, which your creditors will have duly recorded with the various CRAs.
How many defaults do you have (credit for which you have an agreed repayment schedule with them) ?
How long ago did you default on the credit you have ?
As SPM asks, how much deposit do you have ?
Are there anyother issues that need to be considered ?
The above will seem like a lot of questions, but the answers are vital to determine if you have a chance of a mortgage, or will be renting for a little while yet.
Hope this helps
