Hello,

I was just wondering which finance company supplies the finance for SCS sofas? I can't find who it is on their website.

I know its hitachi for DFS....

I am thinking of applying for credit for a chair, but was just wondering who it will be with first.

They finance through Creation last time I worked on their system.

  • Thanks both - yes I saw that link when I was googling who did their credit... Its a difficult one isnt it as everyone gets bad reviews, and this is only a £400 swivel cuddle chair not a 3 peice suite... I hear what your saying though.

I've not heard of creation before... Is 'subject to status' the same as a credit check?

My status is good and I can afford the payments, but my credit rating is poor... trying to get credit to build it back up.

Creation supply finance to retailers, they also do loans and credit cards for their customers.

I would say if your credit rating is poor (more detail?) the you're likely to be rejected by Creation, they are not prime lenders but neither are the sub prime...if you see what I mean.

  • Thanks KingElivis - im not sure what my actual score is, but its pretty bad. I've just come out of a DMP and have had numerous defaults in the past, but not IVAs, CCJs etc.

Its not a major thing, if its an no I'll just put the money aside instead.
