Good for her, and well done.

Some people can stop smoking with these devices, others get help from the NHS, others find that going 'cold turkey' works for them.

She will find her health improves. It apparently takes 72 hours for the nicotine to clear your system and after that, it's a question of dealing with habit i.e. 'I like a cigarette after a meal...' those kind of things.

Thinking about the money she's saving may be a great motivation - I don't know what they cost now but I don't think I could afford that habit!

thankyou yes she's doing really well none of us thought she would do it as she has tried all the products and none of them have worked but she.s been using the elites for 3 weeks now and hasnt touched another cigarette since, she thinks they are fantastic and cant praise them enough. l think cigarettes are about 7 to 8 pounds a pack and she was smoking 30 a day so saving will be enormous

Also get her to contact NHS Direct or her GP as I am sure there is extra support for giving up smoking.

    Well done.
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.

You full well know I don't mean that - I mean the ensuing conversation, but it's all still up here, so maybe I am in the wrong.
