Just to update this thread, I returned the money back to the client and they were very apologetic and said they were sorry for the mix up....I took the upper hand ...
PS. If you are planning on posting your comments then please be aware of your language, I found some of the above tone very offensive...You need to understand what the question is about instead of finding faults.0 -

I've been overpaid by a client. I'm going to return it to them but is it the case they can't force me to do so or do other work to compensate? If they couldn't force me they might appreciate my returning the money even more.0 -
