Many years ago I worked for Standard Telephones and Cables (STC) with whom I paid into a pension scheme for 6 years.
I believe STC were bought by a company called Nortel around 20 years ago at which point I was no longer working for them.
Is my pension with STC lost? If not, any tips on getting at it?
Thank you.

not lost at all !. My brother and sister both paid into pensions with Midland Bank in the 1970's. We wrote to the pensions dept of HSBC 3 years ago and hey presto their pensions were still "live" and waiting to be paid at the appropriate age, once the pension dept had their addresses.0

Hmm. STC went into administration around 2009 with a major furore about the pension fund.
