Hi, I am looking to remortgage my home and have a meeting booked with an advisor from "Your Mortgage Decisions". I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with dealing with this company? Thanks

Your Mortgage Decisions Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority No:459763 (www.fsa.gov.uk/register/home.do).

A fee of 1%, plus a fee of 0.1% for each year of the shorter of the new mortgage term or the existing mortgage term. The minimum fee is £1995 and the maximum fee is £4995. For example, if your mortgage amount is £100,000 and the term is 15 years, our fee will be 1% of£100000 and 0.1% for each of the 15 years. (£100000 x 1% + 0.1% of loan amount x 15 = £1000 +£1500 = £2500).

Think carefully before securing other debts against your home.

YOUR HOME MAY BE REPOSSESSED IF YOU DO NOT KEEP UP REPAYMENTS ON YOUR MORTGAGE.

Makes my MAXIMUM £495 with refund of any commission look paltry.

Wonder if they'll still be around in 28 years...?
