Is this wine any good?!

Hi everyone,
I am at a loss regarding wine and wondered if there are any clever people who could assist...
We often get gifts of bottles of wine (both of us teach) but we don't drink wine ourselves so we occasionally find old bottles in the back of a cupboard and don't know what to do with them.
Currently we have:
d'Arcana Pinot Grigio 2010 "Cavit Trento"
Jacobs Creek 2010 vintage chardonnay
South Eastern Australia Calloway Crossing, Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz 2008
Are any of these wines ok to drink or should I throw em? I am going to a few BBQs over the coming weeks so was going to bring a bottle, but would be absolutely mortified if I gave it as a gift and it was undrinkable!!
Any help would be greatly appreciated - Thanks x

I think they will all be bad - bring them to me and I will check them all for you.0

I'd drink all of those, no problem. But that Pinot Grigio can't be this year's vintage as they haven't started picking the grapes yet0

Opps - well spotted! - It's 2010, I'll change the original post - Thanks BitterAndTwisted
Fruball, I'd gladly send some to Fru Towers, but I couldn't live with myself if they ended up poisoning you!0 -
That chardonnay is likely to be quite oaky. Dunno if you're a fan, but all three should be reliable.0

Personally I'd stick the whites in a french onion soup and drink the red!0

None of them are great quality wines as far as I am aware, but none of them should be 'off' at that age - perfectly drinkable table wines, or fine for cooking too if you prefer to play it safe. We don't like Jacob's Creek, it is generally mass produced plonk (though plenty of people do like it), but the Calloway Crossing should be acceptable, and though I don't know the other brand, I would expect a '10 pinot grigio to be quite ok for a casual BBQ with friends.
You can always take a couple of bottles when you are visiting close friends/family and just say you don't know what they're like as they were presents, but hey, let's open them and find out! At worst, you have a laugh and chuck it away, or keep it for a stew. Make sure you take a second bottle, just in case one turns out to be a dud...Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!0
