how many freebies turn up?

Options
Hi I'm a very new newbie and if this is posted in the wrong place then I apologise. I'm new to this freebies game and just wondered roughly what percentage of freebies actually turn up? Don't get me wrong,I'm happy to get any of them but I'm just interested to know and are there some companies that are well known to you folk as being a waste of time?
Just thought I would pick your brains if that's ok
thanks

I find most turn up after a month or so. However there are some offers that are left well after they finished on websites or some that are aimed just at companies that do not post anything if freebie seekers sign up. The only one I can think that is well known for not sending anything is Hotmat.
I think best policy is to try and catch the limited 5000 or less as they tend to be most reliable yet you have to visit reguarly to catch them as they finish quick such as Nestle chocolate freebie. This however means you cannot really rely on peoples opinions on whether they will turn up or not as they are one shot deal that you have to be in first or be last. Best one to go for for reliability I guess would be the big names.

thank you for your reply.i guess as with anything it's the luck of the draw and some freebies are bound to be more highly sought after than others,i should imagine perfume samples and chocolate go like wild fire!i did look at a couple of other sites which are purely freebies sites but this one is much more useful as it's about saving money and not just getting freebies.it's a whole new world to me lol

Most perfume samples are just the Tiny bottles...so the manufactureres normally produce THOUSANDS of them , so anyone and everyone can get a sample.

Its a nice surprise when you have applied for a freebie , and it turns up months later when you completely forgot about it! like the teddy i received yesterday hehe!

I find that most turn up. Some turn up months later and by then you have forgotten that you sent for them, but its brilliant when you get a freebie through the post.

I'm new to this game too but one thing I've learnt is have a different e-mail address when appling for freebies/samples or you may get bogged down with spam. Sorry if I'm stating the obvious.

    Hi,

I'm a bit of an 'anorak' :D so I've made a note of all the freebies that I've applied for since August last year and I tick them off when they arrive.

I've applied for 55 and so far 36 have arrived, but bear in mind that about 10 of those 55 I've applied for in recent weeks so they may still turn up.

I don't think that's a bad return at all. I only apply for things that I may use, I wouldn't apply for a freebie just for the sake of it. More often than not I've gone on to buy the full size product.

lol@anorak lol actually that's not a bad idea you know.i suppose it stops you applying for the same thing twice, mind you if it's a good freebie you might want to apply twice.i will be more than happy if i get anywhere near as good a percentage of freebies as you.i only started applying a couple of weeks ago and have only had a couple but hopefully they might start showing up now
