Any special deals with First Direct (Broker or otherwise)?

I currently have an offset mortgage with First Direct. £68000 mortgage with £27000 offset.
I'm on a discounted tracker rate, but it ends in May. I phoned up asking what they could do for me, and basically, nothing at all. So a SVR of 6.25% looms.
I know that they DO offer these sorts of rates though. However, it's normally through a broker.
I've tried L&C and Charcol, but they don't have anything. Does anyone know of any other brokers that might have offers for First Direct?
I've done some calculations, and I would only save £300 by remortgaging to the best deal with another lender that I can find. Any discount off the First Direct SVR would therefore make it cheaper to stay with them, and I'd avoid the hassle of moving.
Thanks
Sonic

If not, any other suggestions?

Because your mortgage amount is relatively small the costs of moving your mortgage could eat into any savings you make.
I know coventry do offsets, their rates are currently 5.75 fixed and 5.45 variable. (They usually offer free legals and valuation on remortgages.) As you say you would be saving only a few hundred a year; whether that is worth the hassle only you can judge.
Only picked Coventry because I'm with them, not as a recomendation; though their current policy is to offer existing customers all available new customer deals.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
