Hi bubbles,
There are lots of craft enthusiasts who will be able to give you ideas on the Old Style board so I'll move your thread over there.

how about shells or small mosaic tiles stuck on to the outside of the mirror? does it have to fit in with the rest of your bathroom?proper prior planning prevents !!!!!! poor performance!Only when the last tree has died and the last river been poisoned and the last fish been caught will we realise we cannot eat moneyquote from an american indian.0

Most diy stores sell a spray can of etching. It's very easy to use, but I would say to make sure that any transfer edges you use are securely sealed, because this is a liquid and could seep under and ruin your design.
If you have a friend who works in store, perhaps you could ask them to get it for you (and use their discount). Cheeky I know!New Mantra: I must not visit MSE until after I've completed all my chores!!!!!0
