When I first came to these boards, I was feeling so low about my situation and really struggling to manage my finances. My usual coping mechanism for feeling down was to go on a shopping spree, so I'd developed a really unhealthy relationship with spending. With the help and direction of people from this board, I went to the snowball calculator, and was horrified to discover that it would take me almost 4 years to repay my debts - and my debts were growing rather than shrinking. Following some tough love, good advice and a few months of slogging and slumming, I've just redone those calculations and it's down to 6 months!

Well done, 6 months is nothing it will fly by. Just keep that debt free date in the front of your mind every time you are tempted to fall off the waggon so to speak.
Its tough (been there myself) but it it will be sooooo worth it in the end.
