Did they offer you any individual psychiatric and psychotherapy counselling or just group counselling?

DBT is both individual and group.

OP i am truly sorry about your loss and being in a similar situation myself i can completely relate to how you are feeling. My brother commited suicide a month ago and it has left our myself and the rest of our family devastated. :(

Like the others said i would arrange some sort of counselling to help through this time .This is the route i have also chosen to take.

Wishing you the best of luck and massive hugs ((())).

I'm so sorry to hear this :( Sending you a massive (((HUG))) xxx

OP, are you taking your medication consistently, or do you miss some doses?

Excellent. Do you have a checklist of the things to do, i.e. fluid and food intake, exercise, socialisation? And are you still seeing any of the psych team on a regular basis?

I go through phases of not eating/drinking. I exercised regularly whilst I was in hospital but not so much since I've been at home. I don't really have many friends to socialise with. I see my social worker regularly and my psychiatrist every 2 weeks at the moment.

I totally sympathise with the not eating/drinking thing. Sometimes I just forget, sometimes I can't get the thoughts and energy up go get it and do it (eat/drink).

However, it is just as important as medicine. So can you just keep a large bottle of water/fluid beside the bed and another by your computer desk, and something like bags of peanuts?

This way, you get enough energy to get up and get the proper food!
