My ex wife was given a CCJ for a debt to a water company for a debt that existed pre bankruptcy, but the CCJ was issued 4 months into her BR. The water company have agreed she does not hat to pay this judgement but they are refusing to take steps to remove it. What does she need to do to geth it removed from her file as it should not have been made in the first place?
Thanks

She has just called the court and been told she will need to appeal it at the cost of £80, thats more than the original debt. Surley this cannot be right?0

If she is looking to get the judgement overturned, then yes, the fee is £80. Seeing as the BR will have trashed her credit file anyway, why not leave it on there? It'll fall off around the same time as the bankruptcy.0
