Hi all,
we've got a multifuel Rayburn in our kitchen, it runs the heating and does all the hot water for the house. During Summer we don't have it running as it's far too warm (usually!) in the kitchen. We've just let it go out a week ago and i'm going to give the enamel a good clean, I was wondering what products people use to clean their enamel??
I did have some proper Rayburn cream cleaner but that's long gone and is quite expensive so I thought i'd ask on here for ideas before I go and buy some!!
Thanks!
Jx

To a degree it depends on how good the enamel is.
I steam clean mine & use one micro-cloth to wipe over & another to polish up - no chemicals at all.
I also steam clean the racks.0 -
I use Cif on all parts. Cif doesn't seem to do any damage, and I always rinse it off well so hopefully none left on to do damage. It is dark blue in colour so I guess it would show damage more than say a cream coloured one initially. We inherited it with the house and is about 12 years old - they used cream cleaners on it as well apparently and no obvious damage caused. Hope this helps!
(P.S. if anyone wants a rayburn cooker (cooker only) for a very cheap price PM me - sorry to thread hijack! Needs to be removed to have our kitchen redone)

Try this website - looks like they recommend that Astonish cream and I have to say it works really well from my personal experience.
