Ifa put my pension investment into the wrong fund

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Briefly, I have a pension through my employer who has another office that administers our group personal pension. In December 2010 an IFA visited and I asked to have my pension fund put into the aggressive fund. Had a meeting this week and it turns out that I am still in the moderate fund and have been since the meeting in 2010.
I am not happy as it was quite a simple change to make, but my query is, is it worth pursuing, or the said time period have I been better off staying in the moderate fund?
I am 42 years old.
I look forward to any constructive advice to help me.
Many thanks.

Typically in these cases, the adviser would get you to sign a fund switch form and forward that to the provider for them to action.
You need to speak to the IFA and ask them what happened. We can only guess on here.
With regards to which is best, the IFA will likely have software that can tell which ended up best.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Over that timescale it's altogether possible the aggressive fund has performed worse, so it's definitely a good idea to check the relative performances before asking to be indemnified for any mistakes!Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
