Advice Needing In Improving Credit File

Hi all,
Firstly what an excellent forum this is and it's been no end of help in trying to sort out my partners credit file. I believe we have a case in getting my partners accounts showing settled and satisfactory taken off her file. She entered into a DMP with CCCS 10 years ago but was never defaulted on her accounts. This now means that her accounts will be on her file until 2015 ( 13 years after entering into the DMP). I believe she should have been defaulted on her accounts and thus getting the files of her report earlier. A forum member ( Fermi) who kindly pointed out this ICO guideline.
, ‘If the payment set out in the DMP is at a level that represents only a token sum in repayment, because that is all the customer can afford, the account should be recorded as a default… The notice will distinguish the customer from those who have acted less responsibly. The record should be removed six years from the date of the default so that the customer is not disadvantaged over those who have made no effort to pay whatsoever.
I believe we might have a case given these guidelines .
Is there any members on here who have had success/failure in dealing with this type of issue.
Any advice or info appreciated .
Mark
