Hi there folks i searched the forum and couldn't find the right answer.
I started a job on the 21st May which included training, unfortunately i didn't pass the training and on the 3rd week was let go. I was meant to be paid on the 29th of June, this didn't happen. I have rang HR numerous times who in the end been put me through to the Operations Manager by then i had been promised i would be the paid 7th then 14th July. Then i got told i had been paid (never got paid), the next excuse what there was issue with Lloyds TSB bank (lies). Everyone else who works there/worked there got paid.My bank details were checked aswell they were fine. Im waiting on a call back tomorrow midday. Whats are my rights? Does section 13 of the 1996 employment cover and can i recover extra monies for costs of not have been paid on time

How about worker union or labor department? You should find the third party to help you.0 -
Call ACAS, they will be able to help you out.. As for claiming extra money? Very unlikely.0

Depending on what your contract says, you may be able to get extra money if the fact they did not pay you on time meant that you incurred extra expense, overdraft fees etc. If they have broken their own contract by not paying you as promised, you have a right to reclaim these costs.Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0
