hi , iv been in debt for a while now, due to makinmg silly mistakes when i was younger with credit cards and silly loans , no im paying the price but im paying them back going through a debt company which i pay so much a month, i had to leave work when i had my little girl who is now 7 months old so i get paid from the goverment, just untill she goes to nursery then i will go back to work, recently my car failed its mot and is going to cost just as much as a new one, and i really rely on my car as my parents live an hour and a half away, and because of my existing credit and the fact im on dss now theres no lender and or anything willing to give finance! can anybody help ? thanks

Doesn't sound like u have a lot of options. If you have no commitments other than your daughters nursery is there an option to move in with your folks?0

You don't really need finance-you can save up for a cheap banger to get you through until you get back to work. I got a ford mondeo estate once from a breaker's yard for 250.Used it for a year and it was great.Your parents will have to visit you for a bit instead of you visiting them.Have you tried a second opinion for your car?What did it fail on?Debts Jan 2014 £20,108.34 :eek:
