Opening/closing date & time:

· Competition opens for entries via PRTS, SMS and online as stated in the Dickinson’s Real Deal show (the “programme”).

· Competition closes for entries via PRTS, SMS at 9.30 a.m. as stated in the programme. Competition closes for online entries at 5.00pm no less than 3 working days after the closing date and time for entries via PRTS and SMS.

Competition draw date:

Within no more than one week of the closing date and time for all entries.

Method & cost of entry:

· PRTS Phone - call 0901 293 77 66 and follow instructions; up to 3 entries per phone number. Entrants who enter twice from the same phone number will be invited to stay on the line on their second call to enter the competition a third time without additional charge. The entrant’s third entry must be made on the second call from that phone number. Each call costs no more than £1.03 from BT landlines. Other networks may be higher and from mobiles considerably more.

· SMS text – send a SMS text to 63337 with A, B or C to indicate your answer to the question; up to 3 entries per phone number. SMS entrants will receive a SMS reply message acknowledging their SMS entry and inviting them to enter the competition via SMS a second time using the same mobile number to receive an additional entry into the competition without charge. Entrants who then send a second SMS text with their answer to 63337 by the competition closing date and time will be entered into the draw three (3) times for a chance to win the prize. Each of the SMS entrant’s first two (2) SMS text entries costs £1.00 plus one standard network rate message.

· Online – go to www.itv.com and follow the instructions; up to 3 entries per phone number.

I see it's changed from 6 entries per number to 3... is that just a Sunday thing or has it now changed for all comps?

Years ago, itv comps used to be about 30 entries per phone number and they suddenly reduced them all to smaller amounts - i cant remember Real Deal being anything other than 3, although i do think This Morning and Loose Women used to be 5 (they are now 6).

Mind you, tomorrow, This Morning launch their Summer Special Competition, and these ones that last for longer than the normal 1/2 weeks often have 9 entries per phone number - we will find out tomorrow

Are you sure you are not thinking of the Channel Five comps like Brainteaser and Memory Bank?

They were live and required you to phone in during the transmission to give your answers.

They stopped running those when they got into a pickle with them when they couldn't connect up with a valid caller - so they ended up faking the winners occasionally.
They got fined over that.

Shame really because I liked those comps.

Nope, def the ITV cmps, used to spend ages everyday entering (This Morning and Loose Women used to have daily competitions as well, before changing to weekly, saved me a lot of tv viewing ) Apart from The Wright Stuff and Neighbours, im not really a C5 viewer.

Im still waiting to win one of them......maybe the Summer Special will be my turn

If it was 30 entries I wouldn't bother.I wish it was just 1 entry for all of them.Time consuming doing them even with the auto form.

I hated the 30 entries - they took forever to do, even with Roboform.
