i also have a share account in which i am down atm

will a creditor able to find this out and hijack my shares?

    is that possible?

As someone else has said a judgement in the UK can be enforced in Australia. So depending on how you funded the shares and if they get you into a court room in Australia (which they could do) then by not declaring the shares and all investments you are opening yourself up.
Like I have said notify the creditors and negotiate settlements you will be shocked as to how little you may have to pay. Or, run the risk it all turns up on your doorstep in Australia.
As for another poster said the debts then increase fees, they are worng all loan losses tend to classed as tax losses and are sold on to a DCA once recorded as a tax loss. So, in all likelihood they lose very little if anything at all.

if they lost so much money on all the loans that are never re-paid they would never loan money. there are mechanism they employ such as tax write offs and selling to a DCA.

if they lost so much money why would banks and DCA's settle for less than between 25% - 50%.
    think about it.

Rightly or wrongly this is my view.

People like you annoy the hell out of me. You ran the debts up it is your responsibility to pay them. I would imagine that by 'doing a bunk' the banks need to recover their losses in other ways (higher bank charges etc) so EVERYONE else ends up paying for your extravagant lifestyle

I, like the majority on here, understand that is is MY fault i'm in debt funding a lifestyle i could never afford and i know i must now pay the price AND PAY IT ALL BACK since i spent it in the first place,. Not leave it for the rest of society to clear up.
Selfish. No wonder this country is in such a blummin mess. desismileys_7011.gif

I was short and sweet with m first post, Glad you gave him what for we who live in this country and pick up you s**t.

You really have no conscience at all or any consideration for other people who will suffer as a result of your attitude. If I were in your position, I would be morally obliged to use the redundancy payment to clear as much of the debt as possible and to inform other creditors of the move so they would not pursue and harass future tenants. I really hope that the banks and others trace you and block your accounts.

I hope you are right. Did not see this message until I had written my last one.
  • Be good and find an agreement wirh creditors to pay it off... Especially if you dont want to be landing in prison! When they chase after you, it will be the police, and that will be more expensive!!
