We have been doing really well & we have the last of our loans going nxt year - one fin in Jan 13 & one in Dec 13.
Five hard years of slogging.
However in that time ive had a wedding, baby & moved house - plus dropped to a 3 day week so my moneys gone down.i thought that i was doing well, getting there, only we have racked up £2 grand + on a card again so have that to clear ( had to pay
2 rents, etc things we couldnt do), ivemanaged for 3 years to stay out of my
overdraft. Proud, as it makes me feel in
control. I had a bill for my cars mot this
week & it was £230 and i didnt have it ( steep month - holiday, 2 birthdays etc)
I have no money left & il b about £400 overdrawn by the end month which i havnt been for years
Feel Sick & like im neva gonna get out of this mess

Hi Hayley33,
Hugs to you, I'm in a similar position myself. Had my LBM in 2006 and i'm still a few years from my debt-free date. All you need to do is think about how far you've come in the past five years, how far closer you are to getting rid of it. It will happen eventually. Everyone has slip-ups from time to time - don't beat yourself up over it, especially as things like rent and getting your car through the mot is essential.
Why don't you come and have a read of the "debt-free by xmas 2012" thread: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3886873
