Annuity comparison quotes?

Hi there just asking on behalf of my parents who have to take out an annuity on a small sum of 16k. My dad has been quoted at £1500 per annum. All I want to know is what is the best way of shopping around? Do you go direct to Aviva or through or broker? Is there a comparison site out there that factors in your age health etc............ The figure quoted seems good to me but is a level income.

Also my dad is 65 can he defer it?

I havent asked what there current pension income is.

Many Thanks

See a local IFA is always the best way to get the best deal for an annuity.
