Reselling named tickets

I have been trying to get some tickets to take my son to the basketball or judo I got offered judo tickets ( for face value ) but they are obviously in the sellers name ( female) but my son want to go with his dad so would he have any problem using them ?

Everyone I ask has a different answer !!!

I don't have a link but rules ave changed so that tickets can be given or sold for face value to family & friends. The original ticket purchaser needs to be available by telephone on the day in case officials/security wish to contact them.

Providing its from friends/family/someone who knows someone your be fine. They have stated its ok to pass tickets on to friends/family but as Liz says the original ticket purchaser may need to be contactable on the day. Realistically, this is NEVER going to happen. Can you imagine them checking each ticket on the gates? It'd be madness. So go ahead, as long as you don't pay over face value its perfectly ok for them to be passed on.
