There were worse in my class, some people didnt even complete GCSE's. DUring the Access course you get A Level Equivilent QUalifications that are recognised by ALL Universities
I got Accepted for Brighton, Liverpool, Birmingham and 2 corses at Sunderland0 -

While you don't need Maths and English (and Science in Primary) GCSE's (C and above) to get into Uni, you will need them to get onto a PGCE course and achieve QTS. If you don't have GCSEs, you can use equivalent qualifications in those subjects or take an equivalency test:
